How to Use These Worksheets Effectively

Worksheets are a tool, not the entire solution. Here are tips for getting the most out of practice time:

1. Short sessions win. 10–15 minutes of focused practice is better than an hour of reluctant tracing. Stop before your child gets frustrated.
2. Say it while writing. Have your child say the character's pronunciation (pinyin) and meaning out loud as they write each stroke. This reinforces the connection between sound, meaning, and shape.
